Where's Wednesday?!

As I sit here tonight, snowflakes are slowly falling outside. The ground is white, and well... it's cold! It's hard to believe that just two days ago we were playing at the park and enjoying all of the beautiful sunshine. Now all we have are pictures to prove how nice it was!

Big bro was cruisin on his bike while little bro crawled in the grass!

Time for some trucks-and yes Tyson is still wearing his bike helmet, but like we always say-"safety first!"

Aiden was able to give a quick pose for the camera before heading off again to explore!

Cousin Mason came over in the afternoon, and we went to the park and played!

We finished up the afternoon in the house playing with a few toys before Mason had to go home to help Aunt Marla make supper! It was a long and busy day, but we sure had fun. We can't wait until the snow melts so we can do it all again!!

Brothers!

"It's a boy!" I can still remember it like it was yesterday; the day of our ultrasound with Tyson! We were so excited to be having a boy. Three years later we were blessed to hear those same words: "it's a boy" during our ultrasound with Aiden. I immediately began imagining how they would be able to grow up having a best friend to play with and share a bond that only brothers can have.

In a way, the past year of them being together as brothers has been even better than I expected. From the first day Tyson met his "little bro", they have had a special bond. Tyson is such an awesome big brother! When Aiden was a baby he loved holding him, feeding him, and even changing his diaper (well, ok, that was mostly moral support!) And a year later, he continues to shower him with love; and I can't even count the number of times he's made Aiden laugh when no one else could even get him to crack a smile.



They are so cute to watch together, and I know as the days (and all too quickly) years pass, the bond they share will grow even stronger. My wish for them is that they always know how lucky they are to have each other. To be brothers; a bond that can never be broken!

GOAL!!!

Well it's that time of year again! Today was Tyson's first day of spring soccer. He's been practicing with a couple of goal nets that grandma Brenda got him for Easter. I guess it worked, because he scored a goal in his game today!! He was pretty excited. Unfortunately, his little brother missed everything, since he was sleeping in the jeep. Oh well, maybe next time!!

Even though little bro didn't get to play soccer, he still wanted to be part of the post, so here's a few pics from his 1st birthday party (that's right I said 1st). I can't believe how fast that flew by! His birthday is April 13th, so we celebrated on the Saturday before Easter. How cool, birthday party on Saturday and Easter on Sunday! Can anyone say sugar high?!!

He seemed to enjoy his cake - what he got in his mouth, anyway!!

Today is the Day!
