Park Palooza!!

We made the most of a very beautiful fall day! It was all about playing outside on Wednesday; even the dog got to join in on the fun! We first went to the dog park and let Samson play with some four-legged friends. I didn't take Aiden's stroller, though, and it was all I could do to keep him out of the creek, so that only lasted about 30 minutes.

Then we went to a park in town for the boys to play at. Samson, unfortunately, had to stay in the Jeep at this one. We played for about 30 minutes before going home to put Aiden down for a nap.

Tyson was still itchin to go outside, so after little bro woke up from his nap we walked down to the park in our development. We played for about an hour, and then took a long walk back home. It was a beautiful day, and I would have to say that we took good advantage of it!

(My computer is being a bit tempormental and I can't seem to get my pictures in the order I want, so I guess this will have to do.)

A couple of silly boys on the way back home! Oh!, and not to worry that's just a little ice cream on Aiden's face.

STEADY!!!!

Give Me Five!!!

Last week started another season of soccer for Tyson, and what a difference a year and a half makes. He was just shy of 4 years old when he first went out for soccer, and he has come such a long ways. He is really starting to understand the game. He's also not afraid to go after the ball and take it down the field for the score. In the case of this Saturday it happened to be 5 goals-all in the same game! He was so excited! Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera this week, so all of the pictures are from last weekend.

Check out that form!

Kicking it in from the sideline.

Warming up before the game!

He's not the oldest on the team-but he is easily the biggest!

He was so cute last weekend-he got all geared up by himself and then told me to take a picture of him. I was waiting for his signature CHEEEZZ when he told me: "Just take it while I'm serious." I guess he was getting his game face on!!

Tuesday's Tidbits!

Tyson:
Tonight we were playing "Cootie" (the game where you roll the dice and make a cootie bug based on what number you roll). Anyway, Tyson was putting his together and some peices of his bug fell on the floor. He quickly yells: "My hanna montana -where did it go?" I was completely confused until he repeated it and then gladly proclaimed he had found it, and proudly put his cootie's antenna back on his head.

The other day we were driving into town and there were big white and gray clouds in the sky. It had been raining the day before, so Tyson in his endless wonder asks: "How does God make it rain." This lead in to a very cute and innocent conversation of God and Heaven.
Tyson: "Does God have a big house?
Me: "Well yes-he lives in heaven up in the sky."
Tyson: "How do his feet not fall through the clouds?
Me: SPEECHLESS!!!

Aiden
We've started quite the routine for bedtime. After tub-tub he drinks his milk, usually we have to read several books, and then all we have to say is: "OK it's time to go night-night!" Aiden then hops right down from your lap and toodles over to big bro and Mom/Dad (whoever he wasn't sitting with) and gives kisses and hugs. He then grabs his blankie and pup dog and heads right back to his crib. Oh, if it could stay this simple forever!

Aiden has become quite interested in health and wellness. He goes down stairs with me when I do my aerobics, and immediately when the music starts and the people start warming up he starts with his squats. Talk about a work out! It is too cute!
