Trick Or Treat!!!

Aunt Marla, Uncle Tony, and Mason came over tonight to go Trick or Treating! Oh what fun we had!

Before we took off, though, we had to have a little supper!

Mason seemed to like sitting next to Aiden. The cheese dip was awfully fun to wipe all over his face!

Enough with the boring stuff-on to the fun!!

Man-he never ceases to scare me every time!

And then there's this cutie!

Aiden didn't quite get the concept. He seemed to prefer checking out all the cool Jack O Lanterns on everyone's front step, and really could care less about the candy. Tyson, on the other hand, was all over it! A real pro!!

I didn't know Aiden's little legs could move so fast! He practically ran from house to house trying to keep up with big bro!

Getting a little assistance from Dad!

Tyson got these cool teeth from Jeb and Codi. Aiden got some too-just a little too young to figure them out quite yet.

Notice Mason's basket. Aunt Marla kinda forgot his at home, so we improvised with one of Tyson's Easter baskets. Just about every house we went to commented on how cute it was-not realizing it wasn't a planned part of the ensemble!

Happy Halloween from the Dunbars!!!

Jack-O-Lanterns!!

Last night was a big night-we finally got to carve our pumpkins for Halloween! The day was filled with excitement. I can't even count the number of times Tyson asked: "Is it time yet-can we carve our pumpkins?" Can we say broken record?! Finally, after supper as promised, in they dove creating their Jack-O-Lanterns!!

Tyson actually touched the insides this year and cleaned out his own pumpkin-a big step from previous years when it "grossed him out"!

Gee-I wish he wasn't so shy around the camera!

Aiden even took part in the action! He wasn't afraid to get a little dirty.

Tyson was even big enough to cut out his own face.

This little guy was Aiden's pumpkin, but since he wasn't able to carve his own, big bro Tyson drew and cut out the face all by himself. I love his big mouth!

Happy Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!

Yearly tradition!

This last weekend was the annual NICU Halloween Party-or should I say it normally would have been! Unfortunately, the flu epidemic put a stop to it this year, but it couldn't stop us from going to the Dinosaur Park (another tradition that we always do before going to the NICU party every year)

CHEESE!!! Scott pointed out that it's pretty obvious where Tyson gets his signature CHEESE!! OK-so I was just trying to get everyone to smile at the camera!

ROAR goes the dinosaur!!

This year we got to have Grandma go with us! She watched the boys for us Friday night, then brought them up Saturday morning. We got to hang out all day, and she even spent the night! The boys really enjoyed themselves-it's been a while since Grandma has been up for a sleepover.
Saturday evening was the Black Cat Carnival at Stagebarn gymnasium. It was a great replacement for the NICU party! Aiden, unfortunately, came down with a fever on Saturday so stayed home with Dad!

Holy cow-that's scary!!

WHEW!!-it's just Tyson!

They had all sorts of fun games to play. Each one was just a ticket to play, and you got candy no matter how you did!

The golfing got the best of us. It was so cute-he'd hit the ball, miss the hole, and hit it back up as it came rolling back down. We didn't quite get that you're supposed to hit it while it was on the bottom of the ramp-not moving! Oh well, I guess he wanted to make it a little more challenging!

Grace and Avery were there enjoying the festivities too! All in all Saturday turned out to be a great day (provided there was no NICU party and Aiden came down with the flu) Hey, it's important to focus on the positives! There's always next year!!
