"Rickie the Rabbit"

Cousin Mae-Mae (a.k.a Mason) has a baby bunny that Uncle Tony found abandoned in the house they are building, so we ran up last night to check it out!

The little guys were so cute and would just squeal every time the bunny would move or they would try to touch it.

Brother Mae-Mae giving kisses!

It was all Aiden could do to keep from squeezing him to death he was so excited!

"You want me to kiss the bunny?!"

He worked up an appetite trying to keep away from the boys, and went crazy muchin on some grass! He was too cute! Hopefully Mae-Mae takes good care of him, so we can go up again to see just how big he gets!

Weekend fun!

Another beautiful spring day--or not!! We got a few strange looks from people driving by, but what do you do! The lawn was getting shaggy in spots, and with the weekend nearing an end and the forecast not looking all that promising for next weekend we quickly power-mowed the front yard. The snow was pretty wet, so we have to do the backyard yet, but Tyson said he would do it after work sometime this week! What an awesome helper he is!

Notice the head gear! To his credit it was very cold and windy. In other words, not pleasant at all!!

Little guy spent his time running back and forth with the lawn mower. He also has made a bad habbit of running out in the street thinking it is a fun game. Needless to say, we are working real hard on breaking that one as soon as we can!

Not to worry- the red cheeks are from a red sucker we had just before going out!

Tyson took a little break from mowing so he could ride his new bike! An hour later and the front yard was done, so we all came inside to thaw out!! Oh, beautiful spring!!

Do you smell something?!

This weekend we went down to Grammy and Poppy's! Uncle Brian, Aunt Jeannie, and the kids got to go too, so it was a fun-filled weekend! Oh, and did I mention that Saturday the boys spent most of the day re-doing Poppy's septic tank drain off!!! Do we know how to have a good time or what?!

They rented this bad boy to help with the digging. Scott started, but then Brian took control while Scott and Poppy worked in the hole.
These two worked feverishly the entire time the big boys were out there. They dug and dug until I'm sure I saw what could have been "The Great Wall" (get it-cuz they dug so deep! I know stick with my day job!)

They left no dirt untouched!

O.K. so this one is a bit out of order, but I had to make sure and post my studly boy with his new "do" courtesy of Aunt Abby!

It was really windy on Saturday, and down right chilly in the morning-hence the beautiful pink stocking hat Brian is sporting! He wears it well.

Just movin a little dirt-OK maybe not, but he sure looks serious!

Checkin in with Foreman Poppy!

Aunt Abby and Kyra helped keep the little guy content!

After the job was done the little guys got to take turns with their dads and fill in the trench!

Checkin out the progress! I must say, Brian, Scott, and Poppy make one heck of a crew!!

Aiden trying out the wagon. Is it just me, or does it look a little small?!

Now that looks better!

These 2 were dirt from head to toe, so were enjoying a well deserved tub-tub!

You always gotta get a little Poppy time!

We also got to celebrate Aiden's birthday while we were down there. He really gets a kick out of the "Happy Birthday" song, and it is pretty funny to listen to his own little rendition of it.

It was absolutely beautiful this morning, so everyone took advantage and soaked up a few rays before we headed to our vehicles for the drive back home!

Check out the height! I guess if hockey doesn't pan out, he can maybe fall back on basketball!
What can I say, but that we had another great weekend, and can't wait to get to go back down in a month for Aunt Abby's graduation! We will be ready to PARTY!!

Happy Birthday Buggie!

It doesn't seem possible that two years have already passed since we received our second gift from God. Aiden, you were made especially for our family, and how grateful we are to have you! The past 2 years have went by so quickly...you're no longer that baby that had to spend his first few days in the NICU.

Nope... now you're officially 2... going on 16. Everyday you learn more and more, and did I mention what a "big boy" you are!! You're constantly saying new words. Unfortunately for us, "no" seems to be one of your favorites right now! You are an awesome "little bro" to "Ty Ty", and with each day that passes we can see your bond grow even stronger.

Yee-ha cowboy!!
We went back down to Grandma Brenda's this past weekend to celebrate two birthdays: Aiden and cousin Spencer's.

I'm not sure Aiden was real sure about our singing.

There was no shortage of presents to open; and while he might have gotten a slow start, by the end he was rippin the paper off like a mad man on a mission!!

Grandma had gotten him this cool little track with battery controlled cars that we couldn't wait to try out!

Happy Birthday Aiden!! We love you so much, and can't wait to see what new things you learn in the days to come. Just don't grow up too fast, and know that no matter how big you get you will aways be our little "buggie"!!!
Love,
Mom, Dad, and Ty-Ty
