Skating with the Rush

The Rush held their annual season ticket holder "skate with the Rush" after their game tonight!  They won the game which helps make it all the more fun to hang out with them after the game:)  It was extra fun this year now that Aiden is a pro skating as well.  The three boys skated around while I trudged carefully in my tennis shoes taking pictures!

The boys had an awesome time getting to skate with the Rush and show off their skills to some of their favorite players:)  They were able to skate for around 45 minutes, and they definitely made the most of it!

Pink at the Rink

Scott was able to get Fisher Beverage's box for the Pink at the Rink game, and we were all excited to get to check out the game from the comfort of the "fancy seats"!  The boys wasted no time at all checking everything out! :)
The traditional towels

Scott found a bag of Jelly bellies

I promise Grandma wasn't harming Aiden in this picture:)

Hangin out at the bar with Dad
Grandma was in 7th heaven!  Pretty sure Scott moved up a rung on the favorite Son-in-law ladder! :)  It was really cool, and you could still see everything really well...Grandma had a birds eye view on Riley the entire game:)

Aiden testing out the love seat...just in case he got tired by the end of the game

The boys whooping it up to "Gangman style"

Everyone had a blast, and I could see how it could be pretty easy to get used to the comfort and luxury of sitting up there.  Scott's boss (who owns the box) ordered a ton of food for everyone to enjoy, and all the drinks were free as well.  To say the kids were hopped up on sugar would be an under statement! :)  Here's to hoping we can make it up there again in the near future...hint...hint honey:)

Hockey Shoot-Out at Downtown Square

The boys have been keeping busy with hockey, and it's hard to believe the season is nearing it's end!! :(  I haven't been very good with taking pictures, because they are tough to take through the glass and usually just end up blurry....see below)

Getting ready for the face off!

Aiden wanted some close ups...the first is his "happy face", and then he wanted me to take a picture with his "mean hockey face".
Cheeeeeese!

He looks pretty tough to me:)

After their regular games Saturday morning Tyson was asked to participate in a charity fundraising event at Downtown Square!  It was quite the honor to be chosen as one of the skaters.  Each skater was assigned a non-profit organization that they were going to help raise money for.  They participated in a shoot-out.  It was double elimination, and the further they made it through the more money they made for their organization.  Tyson was playing for "Character Counts".  All of the boys took their job very seriously and really played their hearts out to help raise money for their specific organization!

Little bro did a great job of cheering on his big brother!

Check out that form!

Tyson and his best budy Duncan (#25)

Tyson made it through the first round, and then went up against Duncan.  It was a very tight match that went back and forth.  Duncan ended up squeaking out the win, but Tyson did a great job and we were soooo proud of him...and all of the boys for working so hard to help out their organizations!  It was a great time, and Tyson is hoping he will get another shot at it next season!
