Happy Halloween!

We have started a bit of a tradition where Marla, Tony and the boys come over to our house to go trick or treating.  We eat pizza for supper, then head out to hunt for some candy:)

getting dressed and ready to go

Aiden was Ironman, Mason was a multi-super hero dude, Cooper was a firefighter and...well Tyson was a hockey player:)

The weather wasn't too bad.  It definitely could have been worse.  The boys didn't seem to mind, though.  They were practically sprinting from house to house!

Tara and her girls and Brian and his girls joined us for most of the way before branching off towards the end.  Jeb and Codi and their girls joined us half way around the loop.

Aiden and Taley were tired after one loop around, so they decided to stay at the house and hand out our candy to the remaining trick or treaters while Tyson and Teagan went to a few more houses.
As always, it was a fun night and the boys ended up with way too much candy! :)  I'm sure Mom and Dad will pitch in and help them eat it up!

Pumpkin Carving/Aiden's Fall Party

We were a little late on carving pumpkins this year, and only got them done a day before Halloween.  Aiden wants nothing to do with cleaning out the seeds."cuz it's gross", and Tyson isn't a huge fan either...so...pretty much Dad was the pumpkin gutter.  The boys did create their own faces to carve out, though. :)

Aiden's class had their "fall party" on Halloween.  Luckily my work is very flexible, so I was able to take a couple hours to run out to the school and "party it up" with him:)

Rushmore Thunder Hockey kick-off!!

We know that when the Rush season starts that the Rushmore Thunder hockey will be underway too!  The boys were soooo excited to get the season started!  Oh...who am I kidding...so were Mom and Dad!!!  We love watching the boys out on the ice...and every year they improve by leaps and bounds! They always have some open hockey ice time before the practices start so the kids can get back in the groove, and you know we would not miss a chance at some ice time! :)

Love my hockey boys!!!

Aiden picked up right where he left off last season...even better:)

Just sayin' hello!

Rapid City Rush Season kick-off!

Well somehow the Dunbar family survived 6 months without Rush hockey, and are ready to start another exciting season.  We started it off with the Season Ticket holder dinner.  They hand out all the tickets for the year, give us a "special" present (a Rush scarf), and they introduce the 2013-2014 team!  The best part is getting to walk around and see the players and get signatures and pictures taken with them.  When it comes to our boys there are 2 Rush players that stand a mile high above the rest.....  Riley Wesloeski (also Grandma Brenda's heart throb:) and Conrad Reeder (he played last season over seas and we missed him terribly:)

Pidemont Vally 5K Fun Run and Walk

Scott and Tyson signed up for the Piedmont Valley 5K fun run and walk this last weekend.  Tyson loves anything sport related and really enjoys getting to do races with his dad to show off his skills! :)

They both did a wonderful job considering it was a bit breezy and a lot of it they ran into the wind!  Can't wait to see what race they decide to do next!
