Festival of Trees!

Today was the annual festival of trees at the Civic Center. We have never gone to it, so when Aunt Marla asked if we would like to go check it out with her and Mason we jumped at the chance! Aiden, as usual, took some time warming up!

Santa was there, but none of the boys were quite brave enough to go sit on his lap and tell them what they wanted for Christmas. Aiden definitely knew who he was, though. He kept yelling: "Santa, Santa!!" He was waving at him everywhere we went, so maybe next time we may be able to make it to his lap. I know.....big dreams!!

They had a station where you got to decorate your own gingerbread man. Aiden watched Tyson for a little while, but then jumped right in on the action to decorate his very own!

Spread it on just a little bit.

While Aiden found it unnecessary to decorate his gingerbread man with any candy; Tyson worked very hard to make his look "just right".

All of the sugar must have went to Aiden's head because he was even all about posing for pictures in front of the pretty trees! I know......wrap your head around that one!

As we were walking back to the table where Marla and Mason were waiting Aiden grabbed me and insisted on another pose in front of this wreath. He was a mad man!!

Now that's what you call some good sugar!!!
