Kid's Fair!

This weekend was the Kid's Fair at the Civic Center, so we met Marla and the boys to have some fun! We got there right when the doors opened at 8am and left at about 1030am. The boys had a blast...there were so many fun and different things to do for kids of all ages. The boys took a little warming up to the games, but with a little help from Mom I finally got Tyson out on this little doozy. You were hooked up to a bungee rope and you had to see how far you could run before you were pulled back. A lot of fun... and a great workout! Tyson was the only taker for the train. The 2 little boys weren't too sure about the whole deal.

They each took a swing with the mallet to see how strong they were.

There were a ton of vendors and so many cute activities for the kids to do.

Cooper was sure eyeing those cookies:)

I'm pretty sure Tyson could have shot hoops all day if we would have let him. He loves basketball, and is really getting good with his shots.

There definitely was no shortage of blow-up castles and jump houses.

The highlight of the morning...for Aiden, anyway, was this guy. He was a little too start struck though so wouldn't go stand with him so I could get his picture.

Tyson's puppet that he made.

They had about 5 different containers filled with beans, oats, corn, and cool colored sprinkles. All of the boys had a lot of fun checking out the different boxes. They spent about 30 minutes in this area. Marla, Cooper, and I were able to grab a seat and take a little break while we watched them play.

Before we left Tyson wanted to go shoot a few more hoops, and Aiden finally got brave enough to give Digger a high five. Huge progress people! It was a great morning, and definitely worth the $3.00 a person it cost to get in. We will definitely be putting it on our calendar to go next year.
