We went down to Grandma's house for the long Memorial Day weekend. Saturday was beautiful weather, so we made sure to take full advantage and plant "a few" of the hundred or so flowers that grandma had on her deck just waiting for a new home!
Tyson thought he would try his hand at a couple of pictures...
After working hard all morning, we decided to take a quick trip to the park for some fun after lunch.
Monkey see...monkey do...
Aiden found the swings right away. They are definitely still his favorite!
Of course they had to try out the Merry-go-round...
notice how I am standing safely "behind" the camera...I hate those things!
These two decided to pose for a couple of pics...
Nice, huh?!
Sunday was a much different day...cold,windy, and rained all morning. We held the boys off as long as we could, before finally giving in for a quick trip to the Drug Store.
Yee-ha!!
Since we couldn't play outside-the wonderful arcade got some of our money...
Speed boat racing
Oh look...the big boys racing motorcycles...
and the little boys too:)
Aiden trying his luck at shooting some bucks.
Big bro showing him how it's done.
Couldn't leave without the little guy getting his shot at the motorcycle race.
Monday we took all of the fresh flowers down to Grandpa's grave. Janet also put together a picture collage to place in front. The boys standing proudly...Aiden perhaps the proudest of all:) We love you Dad/Grandpa. Not a day goes by that I don't think about you and all of the wonderful memories I have. The boys will most definitely know what an awesome man you were! I can't help but wish that you were here to wrap your arms around them...but, then again, I know in a sense you already are.
