Happy Birthday!

Dear Tyson,

I can hardly fathom the thought of you being six years old already! It truly seems like yesterday we were bringing you home from the hospital at a mere 5lbs. I guess time flies, and oh how we have loved watching you grow into the bright, thoughtful, and loving young boy you are becoming. We feel so blessed that you our in our lives.

In just a couple of weeks you will be starting Kindergarten!! My little boy will be walking into the unknown, and as "nervous" as you have said you are-Mom and Dad know you will do great!

You have grown up so much over the last year. You are always eager to help and "do chores" around the house. I don't know of too many 6 year olds who mow the entire lawn for their mom and dad no matter how much we try to talk you in to letting us help you out! There probably aren't too many kids that empty and load the dishwasher either. These are just some of the things you do without even being asked to.

You are so strong and determined. You truly can do anything when you put your mind to it! You absolutely love sports, and are a natural at every single one you've tried. I can hardly wait for a couple of months when you try hockey for the first time!! You have been talking about it for months and can't wait to get out there! Mom, Dad, and Aiden will be your biggest fans always and forever!

Aiden is also very lucky to have you as a big brother. You help teach him knew things, like riding the little trike that was yours when you were his age. And we can't forget what a good job you do of reading him books at bedtime. You are so patient with him, and we love watching you play together! It's funny...I can't even count the number of times you've had to help Mom and Dad decipher his words so we knew what he was saying!! You are not only his brother, but also his best friend!

Tyson, we love you so much, and can't wait to watch you grow and learn even more for many many more years to come. Happy Birthday big boy!

Love,
Dad, Mom, and Aiden
