We were given the opportunity to share season tickets this year for the Rush's 2011-2012 season. They are the 4 tickets we would always get from Dr. Petereit (radiation oncologist at Cancer Care where I work). We are splitting the season with Amy (my co-worker/friend) and her husband. We are so excited! Anyway, the Rush held a special picnic for all season ticket holders, and we jumped at the chance to go "see the guys"!
Gram even came up for the occasion... after all, she is the 4th seat...her and Aiden, that is! :)

They announced 3 player signings at the event. Scott Wray-team captain-was the first. I guess he had had some sort of surgery on his nose...hence the cute bandage.
They also revealed their motto for the season...pretty cool!
The second signing they announced was Ryan Weslowski.

Conrad Reeder has also been signed for next season (we are sooooo happy!). Whenever he scores a goal they play a song from "Bye Bye Birdie" that ends with..."Oh Conrad we love you!" Aiden loves singing that song, so we had to go over and sing it for him. As you can see, Aiden was a bit embarrassed. Conrad was holding his little boy, and introduced Aiden to him. He also gave Mom a knuckles!

It was a really fun night, and we can't wait to see what other "special things" we get to do with the Rush since we are season ticket holders! Go Rush!!
