The last few years Brian and Jean have come up, so we can go spend a night up in Sturgis during the rally. They got to our house about 6pm on Friday, and we were on the road to Sturgis by 7:30pm. Don't worry....Aunt Jessie stayed home with the kids:)
Our first stop was Easy Riders...a new bar on the corner of Junction Ave. We were able to stand on the deck and watch all the traffic that was coming into town.
This bike was sitting right outside the front doors.
We met up with our friends Jim and Glenda. He has a couple of motorcycles and they had rode one of them up from Deadwood to hang out for a little while.
Talk about a big back tire!
The picture is a bit blurry...but a cool bike none the less.
Jim was nice enough to give me a ride on the back of his bike down main street. I took this quick picture of all of the bikes. Thanks again, Jim!
We walked down Main Street before coming home to check out a few more bikes...
again....I wonder if he has a big enough tire?!
and to save the best for last...
That's right...a Green Bay Packers bike. To say my husband was instantly in love would be an understatement! :) I must admit...it was a pretty cool bike!
Another rally in the books...just a short 365 days until we get to do it again!
