L.I.F.E. {Life Is Forever Entertaining}: Boise trip- part 2

We slept in Sunday and went to church at 9:30am. We picked up some deli chicken and chips at the grocery store and brought home for lunch. Janet had to go to Meridian that afternoon to work on the set. Mom went with her, and Marla and I stayed home with the boys and hung out.

Sunday evening Janet's church had a potluck at one of the local parks. She made it home just in time to get Spencer and Drew ready for their first night of dress rehearsal. They had to be in full make up and costume. She quick ran them to Nampa for practice then came back to join us at the park for the church picnic.

The park had a little water area like the park we went to on Saturday, just not quite as big. That didn't stop the boys from having fun, though! :)

There also happened to be a very large hill just off to where the picnic was. It didn't take the boys long to find out how much fun it was to roll down it! I am surprised no one got sick!

Mom went with Janet to Nampa after the picnic to wait for the boys to get done with practice and Marla and the boys and I went home to relax before calling it a night.

Janet, Mom, and the boys didn't get home until 12:30 am from dress rehearsal, but we were up by 9am and on our way to a berry patch Monday morning to find us some raspberries and blackberries!

The berries were huge and there were a million of them! Aiden was a bit stressed over all of the mud! They have quite the irrigation system and kept them very wet. We were all pretty muddy by the time we were done.

We came away with quite a few pounds of both raspberries and blackberries. That was our main snack for the rest of the week. They were soooooo good!!

We ate an early supper and Janet, Mom and the boys went back to Nampa for another dress rehearsal. They had to leave at 4:30pm to get there by 5pm. Marla and I took the boys over to the park we went to on Saturday to let them play for a while. It was a bummer that Spencer and Drew weren't around any of the evenings but we jam packed the days, so it all worked out. It also meant we were able to get our boys in bed at a decent time so no one got too run down.
