It's Back!!!

That's right... we managed through the summer somehow without hockey, but oh were we excited to go to their first pre-season game this last weekend. Little guy wanted to be part of the action and wear a shirt like Dad and Tyson.



I'm not sure...you think it's a little big? I really think the slippers complete the outfit!!




Tyson got to sport his shirt that the Rush players signed last season! Pretty cool!!




Not now Mom..I'm trying to watch the game!

They played a bunch of clips from last season (including the winning goal to win the cup) right before the Rush came out on the ice to start the game. Tyson looked up at me during it,music blaring, and told me he was so excited he had goose bumps! Aiden had a lot of fun too. He knows all the chants and cheers and rings that cowbell with the best of em! He was also really good at keeping tabs on Nugget (the Rush Mascot). He likes watching him beat on the drum!




I got so into the game I forgot to take any pictures during it. I think all the players were excited to get to hit someone else besides their teammates, because both teams were pounding away at each other!! There were a couple of really good fights!




We had a great time...and I think we all are glad hockey is back! Go Rush!!!
