Tyson's hockey started several weeks ago with weekly practices and open hockey times, and last weekend it was finally time to show off all of his new skills with the first game of the season. He moved up a league this year to the mites-he is in the L1 division.
What a difference a few months makes...he has improved so much! He was scoring goals left and right, and was also looking for his teammates to pass whenever they were open...a real all-around player:)
He is on the gray team this year-number 8.
Dan and Megan came up Saturday afternoon to go to a Rush game with us that evening. We were able to buy 2 of the tickets from the couple who usually sits next to us, so all 6 of us were able to sit down in our section together...so nice!
We were apparently too into the game, because this was pretty much all of the photos we took at the game...well, that and the self portrait that Scott and Dan had together, but I was given strict instructions that it was not to make an appearance on the blog:) The Rush ended up losing the game, so Dan and Megan are just going to have to come up again for another game...they gotta win eventually when they are up to watch:)
