The Rush had a Toys for Tots "Teddy Bear Toss" at their game a couple weeks ago. After the Rush scored their first goal everyone threw their stuffed animal out on the ice. I think they said they collected over 1,000 new stuffed animals to go to the less fortunate children in Rapid City. It was a pretty cool thing to watch!
After the game the boys got to go down on the ice and skate with some of the Rush players. Grandma was pretty disappointed that Danny (Battachio) didn't come back out to skate, but the boys seemed to have a great time with the few that did.

The boys (all 3 of them!) had a great time skating with the Rush players. It made for a late night, but I think it's safe to say that it was worth it!
